BIOI began my career writing for Copley Radio News Service, and then moved into advertising, marketing, public relations, and eventually into writing and editing non-fiction books. I have been a full-time author and editor for over 25 years. I frequently work as a “book doctor,” revising and rewriting manuscripts for publishers, editors, and authors. For two years, I wrote a monthly audio newsletter on human resource management, and I spent three years editing and writing features and newsletter articles for International Ministries. In the fall of 2006, I worked as an editor on a $12-billion proposal effort for the Warrior Training Alliance (WTA), an alliance between Raytheon Technical Services Corporation and Computer Sciences Corporation. The contract was awarded to WTA in the spring of 2007. I received a B.A. in English and American Literature from the University of California, San Diego, and have taught courses in writing and substantive editing for the University of California, San Diego Extension. I helped found the San Diego Chapter of the Independent Writers of Southern California, and I am a member of the Author’s Guild. I currently live and work in Roseville, CA, in the Sacramento area.
